Our Family Travel is planning a special group journey through some of Scotland and Ireland's most memorable landscapes, historic cities and legendary cultural sites.
The journey is expected to begin in Glasgow before traveling through the Scottish Highlands and Edinburgh. From Scotland, the adventure continues across the Irish Sea to Northern Ireland and then through the Republic of Ireland, ultimately concluding in Dublin.
Along the way, the planned itinerary combines famous landmarks with countryside experiences, historic castles, scenic drives, traditional culture and opportunities to experience the character of each destination.
This is intended to be a guided group experience, making it possible to see a remarkable amount of Scotland and Ireland without having to coordinate hotels, transportation and sightseeing independently.

The journey then continues across the Irish Sea to Northern Ireland before traveling through Ireland's cities, countryside and dramatic western landscapes.

Our journey is planned to begin in Glasgow with an introduction to Scotland's largest city. Get your first look at its historic architecture, grand civic spaces and celebrated cultural heritage before gathering with fellow travelers to begin our Scotland and Ireland adventure.
Head north into some of Scotland's most dramatic scenery. The planned route takes us alongside beautiful Loch Lomond, across the landscapes of Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe before continuing toward the legendary waters of Loch Ness.
A cruise on Loch Ness is planned as part of the day's Highland experience before continuing to the overnight area in northern Scotland.
Experience one of Scotland's most famous traditions with a planned introduction to Scotch whisky before traveling to historic St Andrews.
Known around the world as the home of golf, St Andrews also offers centuries of Scottish history and a charming town center to explore before we continue toward Edinburgh.
Spend the day discovering Scotland's historic capital. Planned sightseeing includes the contrast between Edinburgh's elegant Georgian areas and its atmospheric medieval streets.
A visit to magnificent Edinburgh Castle is expected to be one of the day's signature experiences, followed by time to enjoy the city and an evening celebrating Scottish culture and tradition.
Leave Scotland behind and travel toward the coast for the planned ferry crossing to Northern Ireland. Upon arrival, we'll get acquainted with Belfast and its fascinating history.
The day is expected to include Titanic Belfast, where the story of the famous ocean liner and the city's shipbuilding heritage come to life, before continuing south toward Dublin.
Explore Ireland's capital with a planned guided introduction to Dublin's history, Georgian architecture, famous landmarks and lively streets.
The current itinerary also includes a visit to historic Christ Church Cathedral and a distinctive evening experience on Dublin's Grand Canal.
Travel through the Irish countryside for a planned farmhouse experience featuring traditional hospitality and a sheepdog demonstration.
Continue to legendary Blarney Castle, where there will be an opportunity to explore the castle and gardens before heading farther west to the lakeside town of Killarney.
Experience one of Ireland's great scenic touring days with a journey through County Kerry. Mountains, lakes, coastal scenery and small towns create the backdrop for this memorable part of the trip.
The current plan includes a traditional jaunting car experience, the celebrated Ring of Kerry route and time to enjoy some of southwestern Ireland's most impressive views.
Continue north toward Ireland's Atlantic coast for one of the journey's most anticipated natural sights — the magnificent Cliffs of Moher.
After taking in the dramatic coastal scenery, the day is planned to conclude with a festive medieval-style castle banquet and entertainment.
Visit lively Galway for a planned guided walk through its historic center, followed by time to enjoy the city's shops, cafés and unmistakable western Irish atmosphere.
Later, travel back across Ireland to Dublin for the final evening of our group journey.
Our Scotland and Ireland journey comes to an end in Dublin. After breakfast, travelers begin their onward journeys home or continue with any independently arranged travel plans.

Your Home Along the Way
The journey is expected to include 10 nights of accommodations throughout Scotland and Ireland. The individual hotels are still being finalized and will be announced before reservations open.
We're still completing the group arrangements, so we are intentionally not publishing hotel names yet. Once accommodations are confirmed, this section will be updated with the actual properties included in the 2029 group package.
Because this is a multi-destination guided journey, our accommodations will serve as comfortable bases as we travel through Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.
The goal is to use properties that work well with the touring itinerary while providing travelers with the comfort and convenience needed after full days of exploring.
