40 Years Together
A Note From Us
Forty years ago, we said “I do” without knowing all the places life would take us, the memories we would make, or the people who would become such an important part of our story.
As we started thinking about how we wanted to celebrate our 40th anniversary, we kept coming back to something simple: somewhere beautiful, a little travel, and time with people we love.
We’re going to renew our vows in Mexico, and we would love to have you there with us.
Come celebrate with us, enjoy a vacation of your own, and help us make a few more memories along the way. Having you there would make this milestone even more special.

We’ll spend seven nights together at Finest Riviera Cancun, an all-inclusive resort near Puerto Morelos on Mexico’s Caribbean coast.

We chose Finest Riviera Cancun because it gives us a beautiful place to celebrate while also being a wonderful place to simply enjoy a vacation together.
Between the moments we have planned, spend your time at the beach or pool, enjoy the restaurants, explore Puerto Morelos, or just slow down and enjoy being in Mexico.

Choosing Your Room
Finest Riviera Cancun offers several room styles. You can review the available options for our dates and choose what works best for you.
The standard all-inclusive resort experience.
An upgraded all-ages experience with added amenities and private areas.
An upgraded adults-only experience within the resort.
Accommodations at Finest Riviera Cancun for the celebration should be reserved through Our Family Travel rather than directly with the resort.

Our trip is planned for June 10–17, 2028, and we would love to have you with us for the full week.
We understand that seven nights may not work for everyone. Once the ceremony and celebration schedule is finalized, we’ll post those details here so you can plan accordingly.
Yes. Finest Riviera Cancun is an all-ages resort with accommodations and experiences designed for families as well as adults.
Please include everyone traveling with you when you RSVP and when arranging your accommodations.
The ceremony will take place during our June 10–17 stay at Finest Riviera Cancun.
The exact date, time, and location are still being finalized. We’ll add them here as soon as they are confirmed.
Attire guidance has not been finalized yet, but we expect it to reflect the relaxed destination setting rather than a very formal traditional wedding.
We’ll share more specific guidance once the ceremony location and plans are set.
The vow renewal will be the centerpiece, and we’re planning a few additional opportunities to spend time together during the week.
Details will be added as arrangements are finalized. If anything optional has a separate cost, we’ll make that clear before anyone needs to decide.
No. Your RSVP and your resort reservation are two separate steps.
The RSVP tells us whether you plan to celebrate with us. If you’ll be staying at Finest Riviera Cancun, your room should be reserved through Our Family Travel as part of our group rather than directly with the resort.
Finest Riviera Cancun offers standard Finest Suites, upgraded all-ages Finest Club accommodations, and adults-only Excellence Club options.
Available room types can vary, so you can review the current choices when you are ready to reserve your stay.
Plan to fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).
Airfare should not be assumed to be included with your resort reservation unless your individual travel quote specifically says otherwise.
Flight schedules for June 2028 will become available closer to the trip.
Transportation between Cancun International Airport and Finest Riviera Cancun will need to be arranged as part of your travel plans.
We’ll provide more information about transfer arrangements as the trip gets closer.
Because this is international travel, make sure you have the appropriate valid travel documents required for your trip to Mexico and your return to the United States.
Requirements can change before 2028, so they should be checked again closer to departure. If you already have a passport, it is also a good idea to check its expiration date well in advance.
Travel protection is worth considering for a vacation being planned this far in advance.
Coverage, benefits, exclusions, and deadlines vary by plan, so review the available options before deciding what is appropriate for your trip.
That’s perfectly fine. The RSVP form includes an option to let us know that you hope to attend but are not ready to give a definite yes yet.
That helps us with early planning without asking you to make a commitment before you are ready.
